Dongguk university a well organized institution. It has a lot of cafeterias where you can choose your favorites specially that I’m choosy about food.. There’s a convenience store nearby the school supply, and a fusion fast food restaurant. In here, many kinds of coffee flavors and fruit juices are available. The cafeteria called 학생회관 is big and wide, serves buffet every Wednesday and what’s interesting is that the soup and the kimchi are given for free.

The A.T.M machine is what I need the most. Because, it is easy to withdraw money, it is time consuming. Good facilities are almost all available in every corners of the buildings, specially, in wonhyogwan there’s a computer to help us check or find the teachers’ room, a free charging service when your cell phone runs out of battery. But, this area may be greatly appreciated if a none-smoking policy is mandated for the other students and passers by to breathe clean air.

Anyway, most classrooms are well decorated with curtains, equipped with computers, air conditioners, heaters and other facilities that will surely contribute to good learning environment.

The library is huge and English books are of many variations.

The students are friendly and helpful . The elephant which is the university symbol, unites the students who are wise, brave, bright and warm-hearted. The teachers are nice, kind and approachable. Because of the institutions’ motto, scholarships for the poor but deserving students are willingly offerred.
